Before you get started
Can family see an older adult’s location at any time?
No. Sharing needs permission and an active feature such as Safe Trip or a configured safety event. Always check when the position was last updated. The phone must be carried, charged and connected; location updates can fail or be delayed.
Is this a staffed emergency service?
No. Elderly Ally is a support tool, not a staffed alarm service or a replacement for professional care. Do not rely on fall or deviation detection as your only safety measure. Call your local emergency number in immediate danger.
Can sharing be stopped?
Yes. The older adult can withdraw family access separately for each data category. An invitation alone never grants access.
